Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi welcomed a daughter over the weekend!

"Model, author and Emmy-nominated host of Top Chef Padma Lakshmi gave birth to a baby girl named Krishna Thea Lakshmi on Saturday," her rep has announced. "Mother and baby are well and happy."

Lakshmi, 39, has not revealed the name of the baby's father.

Jon Gosselin & TLC Agree to Play Nice

Jon Gosselin and TLC have agreed to put all the bitterness behind them and play nice.

"TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin and will be undertaking procedural steps to conclude the litigation," the network says in a statement. "All terms of the settlement are confidential. The whole Gosselin family remain under contract with TLC. "

There are no plans for the network to bring back the hit show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, but the family is expected to appear in other projects in development by the network.
The settlement concludes a bitter dispute between the network Gosselin included for alleged breach of contract for making TV appearances without the cable network's permission in violation of his exclusive contract.

Spelling was inspired to write a children's book for her children -- son Liam, 2, and daughter Stella, 1.

Megan Fox Is Really Maternal

Actress Megan Fox is already one of the hottest young stars in Hollywood having co-starred in the hugely profitable Transformers franchise. Now the 23-year-old has another role in mind for her future -- becoming a mother.

"No one believes me when I talk about this, but I'm really maternal," Fox says in the March 2010 issue of W magazine.

She adds: "I worry that because I've always wanted [kids] so much, as the world goes sometimes, I won't be able to have them, even though I would be able to provide them with such an amazing environment."
