Nicole Sullivan Inks Deal to Represent Jenny Craig

Rita Rocks star Nicole Sullivan has signed a deal to get back in shape following the birth of her second child with the help of Jenny Craig.

“Baby weight’s different than other stuff,” she says. “You spend a year of your life eating what you want and enjoying letting the baby have what it feels like having — and I’[ve] lost track of what I’m supposed to be doing that’s right.”

The actress hopes to lose 35-lbs on the program by retraining herself about portion control and meeting with one of the program’s personal weight-loss counselors to help keep her accountable.

“If I could have done it on my own I would have,” Nicole explains, “There’s going to be someone I can ask questions — and someone to call me on my B.S.”

In addition to seeing her weight drop on the scale, she has some real-world goals to inspire her to succeed.

“We all say we want to get healthy — and we do. We also want to look cute,” she adds. “I want to put my jeans on and have my jeans look cute. I want to be able to go snowboarding and have a fun day on the mountain without being out of breath all the time. I don’t want to feel like I’m too old. I’m too young to feel like I’m too old to do stuff, basically is my motto.”

About being second in line for Demi Moore’s Charlie’s Angels villain role:
“I’ll never forget it. I was 48 or 49, on a boat trip in the Caribbean. I looked at the picture and went, ‘I am never going to look like that again.’ I just got tired when I looked at the cover of that magazine. I just said, ‘Screw it, can I have another glass of wine?”

About her plans to leave Los Angeles after her son, Austin, 15, finishes high school:
“I’m not sure why I’m still there. I’m not a part of that world. Everybody’s focused on things that are so ephemeral, particularly people’s looks. And I see myself aging. I can’t play the ingénue anymore – though in my mind I can – and I’m grappling with losing that part of my identity.”

Jennifer Garner Prides Herself In Being an A Classic Mom

Jennifer Garner has found the secret to juggling a busy film career and motherhood -- take it one day at a time!

"Every day, you feel like you are off-balance one way or another," Garnersaid at Hollywood premiere of her new comedy The Invention of Lying,. "You just take it one day at a time. Oh gosh, let me know when you figure that out. I don't think anyone has it."

The film's producer, Lynda Obst, gives Garner credit for being an old-fashioned mom and sharing those values with her girls, Violet, 3, and Seraphina, 9 months.

"Most of the time that I did spend with her when it was off-set, Violet was cooking with her, or reading Jane Austen, or doing one of these remarkable things that Violet tends to do," says Obst . "She encourages her kids to be independent. At the same time, kind of not television watchers. Readers. Thinkers. She is kind of old-fashioned. She is a very classic mom."

Ana Ortiz: Paloma Is an Ugly Betty Mascot

Actress Ana Ortiz didn't have much down time after welcoming daughter Paloma last spring. The Ugly Betty star returned to work just three weeks after welcoming her first child with daughter Paloma in tow.

"[Paloma]'s like a little Ugly Betty mascot," Ortiz said at the Fitness Mind, Body, Spirit Games in New York City last week. "Everybody is constantly popping into my room to pick her up or talk to her. She has this whole other family at [the show], and it's great."

Ortiz has a couple extra set of hands to help out while she's filming -- her mother and costar Mark Indelicato's mom watch Paloma, now 3 months old, while mommy is being filmed.

She does have one mommy must-have on set -- a breast pump!

"That's a horrible thing to say, but besides my mother, it's a must-have because if you've got a boob full of milk, you've got to get it done," Ortiz laughs.
