Danielle Staub Is Relieved to Be Rid of the New Jersey Housewives
Even Danielle Staub is happy to be rid of the Danielle drama.
When word broke this week that Danielle Staub had officially been axed from The Real Housewives of New Jersey even Danielle breathed a sigh of relief.
“I’m relieved, happy. It feels amazing to leave on a positive note,” Staub tells People magazine.
However, she does want us to know that she wasn't fired she decided to leave on her own terms (terms that included not being invited back!) “There was really nothing left,” Staub says. “I left on my terms.”
In her own spin of things, Danielle had grown tired of the stress and aggravation of dealing with her costars Caroline Manzo, Teresa Giudice, and Jacqueline Laurito.
“At the reunion, I knew I was leaving but I didn’t know if I’d get to say goodbye or if it’d be chased off the set,” says Staub. “I can honestly say it was starting to be a really stressful situation for me. Constantly having to deal with people attacking me physically, emotionally, mentally, as a mother, as a human, as a woman. I really didn’t want to continue that.”
It certainly won't be the same show without Danielle!

It's Official: Danielle Staub Booted from The Real Housewives of New Jersey
It's official! Danielle Staub has officially been given the axe from Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey. The network posted statement on her exit on their website earlier today with Andy Cohen stating, “The reunion was Danielle’s last appearance on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
The exit puts to end two seasons of housewives bickering between Danielle and everyone she came into contact with on the show. At the end of the RHONJ, Danielle reached an uncomfortable agreement to live and let live with her fellow cast-mates culminating in a few awkward (unbelievable) hugs.
“We thought the hugs were a great way to end two seasons of bitterness between the women,” Cohen adds.
Is this a parting of ways for Danielle and Bravo TV or will we see New Jersey's most divisive Housewife pop up in a spin-off of her own?

Michael Douglas Regrets Sacrifing Fatherhood for Career
Faced with stage IV throat cancer and a son serving time in prison, Michael Douglas is coming to terms with the regrets he has about life so far.
Douglas, 65, tells Men's Journal that he regrets the time he scarified as a father for his acting career. "My career was really just getting started and that was my focus, maybe more than it should have been," he said. "I was gone more than I should have been."
His oldest son Cameron, 31, is currently serving a 60-month sentence for dealing crystal meth.
His work ethic was learned from his legendary father, Kirk Douglas, 93, who also was gone for long stretches during his own childhood. "He was a rager early on," Douglas said his dad. "He was overworked. He was doing five-plus pictures a year. I just sort of stayed out of his way, but he did the best he could."
The Oscar winner is embracing his life with his second wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and their children, Dylan, 7, and Carys, 10. Even prior to his diagnosis, the actor made the conscious decision to step back from acting and enjoy fatherhood the second time around.
"You waste so much time in LA," said Douglas, who spends much of his time with the family between New York and Bermuda. "I had my time, and now I'd rather hang out with my kids."

Mel B Voices Her Shrek Regrets and Pregnancy Humiliation
Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown has one big regret this year. She wishes she had passed up the invite to the premiere of ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy's film, Shrek Forever After, this spring.
In her new reality TV show Mel B: It’s a Scary World, which premieres tonight on the Style Network, the former Spice Girl admits that coming face-to-face with Murphy on the red carpet was difficult. Murphy is the father of her 3-year-old daughter Angel Iris. The two went through a bitter paternity battle over their Angel with Murphy officially being declared Angel's dad.
In a session with a counselor, Mel B opens up about the pregnancy and the decision to attend the premiere.
"We got asked to go to the Shrek premiere and I didn't expect her real biological father to all of a sudden pop back into our life," she reveals. "In my mind I fought so hard for justice at the very beginning of my pregnancy. I was hanging my head in shame because people were going, 'Is that the father or isn't it?' Do I really want to be on a red carpet yet again, entertaining everybody else's world, like, 'We're a happy family' and 'Ooh, Eddie's back in our life?'"
The entire decision process brought back all the pain from her pregnancy that Mel was ultimately able to work through.
"I had no choice," she says. "It brings up all that pain and all that hurt that I went through by myself, pregnant. I had to move to the beach, I had paparazzi following me everywhere, I had people calling me a golddigger, saying that I got pregnant on purpose; it was a horrible time."
Look for Mel B: It’s a Scary World debut tonight at 7 / 8 CST on the Style network.

RHONJ Teresa Giudice Has Some Explaining To Do - Did She Forget $250k?
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has some 'splaining to do!
Teresa and her husband Joe Giudice have been accused of hiding $250,000 in income by the trustee handling their bankruptcy filing.
The trustee has filed a document with the court that the Giudice's failed to report the $250,000 advance Teresa received for her cookbook, Skinny Italian, when they filed for bankruptcy in October 2009. A couple of other income sources also slipped their minds when they failed to claim ownership of an online boutique, TG Fabulicious, and Joe's 1601 Maple Avenue Associates, LLC. In the same filing, the couple had no problem remembering the $11 million in debt that they are attempting to have forgiven.
The book advance is no secret, Teresa already admitted she received the cash in her April deposition.
Do you think the couple are trying to hide assets or is it just a paperwork error?
